The heritage- listed Royal National Park is established in 1879, it’s the world's second-oldest national park and the oldest national park in Australia. It features unique heritage attractions, along with fascinating plants, birds, and animals. Perfect for bushwalking, skydiving, cycling, surfing, picnicking, or whale watching, this diverse park offers everything from beaches to rainforest.

For sightseeing, there are famous Figure 8 Pools, Wedding Cake Rock and the breath-taking Sea Cliff Bridge.

There are also several beaches along the coast, and Garie and Wattamolla Beach are both popular swimming spots, particularly in summer.

The recently renovated Audley Dance Hall Café is also located in the park, next to the Visitor Centre. You can also wander over to Audley Boat Shed and rent a boat to paddle on the Audley Weir.

Symbio Wildlife Park

Symbio is a great little wildlife park that will keep both children and adults entertained.

Each day you will be amazed with the many interactive daily presentations, have the opportunity to have a happy snap with the koalas, alligators and snakes and interact with a variety of animals through live roving.

Facilities at the park include undercover shelters, picnic areas, large playground with large shady trees surrounding.

The newly added splash Park can certainly entertain the little one for hours, with a large dump bucket, spray guns, snake water tunnel and 24 other interactive water play items, a large, grassed picnic area, two large under cover shelters and heaps of fixed and moveable seating.

Grand Pacific Drive & Seacliff Bridge

Grand Pacific Drive is a 140 kilometer scenic coastal drive taking you through lush rainforests starting in the Royal National Park, over the Sea Cliff Bridge and through the coastal townships of Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and the Shoalhaven region, on the stunning South Coast of New South Wales. The 665 meter long Sea Cliff Bridge is a highlight along the Grand Pacific Drive.

Bundeena is adjacent to the village of Maianbar and surrounded by the Royal National Park.

The 26km Coast Track in the national park begins in Bundeena.

Bundeena can be reached by road through the Royal National Park.

Ferry Cruise provides regular ferry services between Bundeena and Cronulla. Ferry trips vary from 20 minutes to 30 minutes.
